A passion for excellence and a tireless drive to succeed constantly feeds my soaring ambitions. Endless dedication, honesty and trust were qualities I inherited through my loving parents.
My life is blessed with good health and my best friend and wife, Nicole. We love exploring the outdoors together while bird watching or catch and release Bass fishing. Partaking in all sport activities feels great when spare time allows.
My very first window cleaning experience took place on a sunny, bone-chilling day in January of 1992. With temperatures below ZERO, I'm thinking it has got to get better than this! (Thanks goodness it has!)
Inspired by the energy and opportunity of owning a small business, I began chasing my dream in the Twin Cities metro. By the spring of 98', David J. Obbink Window Cleaning was open for business, and is flourishing today! Creating a business from scratch presented obstacles and challenges that seemed insurmountable. Yet, the extensive travel through the rural landscapes of Wisconsin and Minnesota have illustrated the most demanding and gratifying experiences in my career. Seeing the smiling faces from work performed well triumphs over any hardships I have endured. I am hard-wired to overthrow adversity, as a result, I possess many loyal clients with heartfelt testimonials.
Window cleaning has granted me an intimate setting to master my craft while building relationships with new people.
My future aspirations are focused on writing and travelling. To become an accomplished author one day, would be a terrific way of sharing my knowledge and experiences tapped from the craft I have truly grown to love. Someday, I hope to spend a winter down south, providing free window cleaning to the folks and communities that need it the most. Squeegeeing a streak-free path from coast to coast would be a delightful way to connect Americans with the clean windows they deserve. It certainly would ensure that my life and capacities will never stop growing.
